Yogyakarta, February 22, 2024—The Government of Pleret Sub-Village, in collaboration with PolGov, organized the Selection Exam for the Sub-Village Head Position in Trayeman Hamlet, Pleret Sub-district, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The selection exam took place at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) at Gadjah Mada University for a full day.
This selection exam is conducted by the mandate of Regional Regulation of Bantul Regency Number 7 of 2023 concerning Amendments to Regional Regulation of Bantul Regency Number 5 of 2020 concerning Sub-Village Heads (Bantul Regency Eid 2023). The recruitment of sub-village heads through this selection aims to realize competent and experienced sub-village heads as an effort to improve accountable, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, and collaborative governance services for the community.
Eight candidates for the position of Sub-Village Head participated in this selection exam. These eight candidates successfully passed the administrative selection stage, where they were required to gather support from the residents, a minimum of 30 percent of the local population, evidenced by a letter of support and a copy of the ID card.
The series of selection exams include a written exam, interview, psychological test, and a computer skills and social community activities practical exam. The selection exam began with a speech by Prof. Drs. Purwo Santoso, MA. Ph.D. and concluded with the handover of exam results and a group photo.
